The Moto G Stylus 5G (2024) is available in two storage variants and two colors, with expandable storage up to 2TB. It launched on May 30 and is available through Amazon, Best Buy, Motorola, and soon Walmart, as well as numerous carriers.
Motorola’s budget phones have a new look, with the Moto G Stylus featuring a vegan leather back, first seen on the Moto G 5G (2024). This finish gives the phone a more premium feel and offers a better grip. The camera array is subtly integrated into the back, avoiding the bulky look seen on some other phones, although it still causes the phone to wobble when placed on a flat surface.
The stylus is neatly housed in the bottom of the phone, accessible with a slight press to pop it out. When removed while the phone is locked, it immediately opens a note-taking screen; when the phone is unlocked, it brings up a menu with stylus-related shortcuts. This practical design makes the stylus easily accessible for quick note-taking or sketches.

In gaming tests, such as PUBG Mobile, the graphics were acceptable, and the gameplay was smooth enough for a good experience.
One of the standout features of the Moto G Stylus is its battery life. In standard tests, the phone lasted an impressive 15 hours and 1 minute, outperforming many competitors. This longevity, combined with 30W wired and 15W wireless charging, ensures the phone is ready to go when you need it.
